TEAM / Christian Faes

Christian is the CEO of Faes & Co., which is an investment firm focused on providing investors with consistent, stable, asset-backed returns. He is also the CEO of our group company, F2 Finance, which is a technology-enabled direct lender providing real estate bridging finance loans across the United States.

Christian previously co-founded LendInvest in 2008 and built it into a leading financial technology company that is now one of the largest non-bank mortgage lenders in the United Kingdom. Christian built LendInvest through to its listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2021, and the company now has c.£5 billion in funds under management.

Christian has been actively involved in setting up and building companies such as Onate, which is a bridging finance lender active in Ireland and Spain; has been an advisor to the UK government on fintech; and now, through Faes & Co., is actively building businesses such as F2 Finance and Petra Loan Servicing.

Originally from Australia, Christian was previously a Magic Circle lawyer and in-house legal counsel at a global investment bank in London. He has been profiled and covered in publications such as the Financial Times, Financial News, the Sunday Times, City AM, the Australian Financial Review and Bloomberg.
